My mother was a wonderful baker. Surprisingly, most of her baking she did without the aid of a cookbook. I hope my sharing brings back memories for you...for me, it's in my mother's kitchen, with her standing behind me, and letting me create.

A Touch of Spring
I just feel so badly for all my family & friends who are in the midst of this cold front that has settled over them. I decided this morning to share a wreath I made in paper with my new dies and to give you a preview of Spring to keep you warm. One of my favorite writers, Hal Borland said...
Susan this is lovely. It's better than the flower show. Because it's a month earlier. Thanks for sharing. It's +5 here this morning, with a wind chill of COLD!!!!!!!!!
Wow! It's beautiful, I can't believe how realistic it is. You're simply amazing! I headed to Vegas to get out of the cold. The 50s are much better than the 20s, and that's with it warming up at home. Brrr I hope you're staying warm and having a wonderful day!

Hello-Hello-Hello! It is exactly those new dies that have brought me here. When the CHA videos were released, I saw the new Sizzix dies that you are releasing. I went to the Sizzix site to see when they are going to be available and was brought to this page. Now it is one of my favorite blogs! I have all of your books. I have nearly all of your punches that the books suggest. I have the red stamps, and of course I have the tools.Of all the products that were shown at CHA this year, YOURS are the ones that I just can't wait to have. Do you have any idea when I am going to be able to purchase them? BTW, I am going to try making bread hahahahaha. Muriel Charlonne Rindge, NH
Hi Muriel, thank you--I'm so happy you share my enthusiasm for flowers! I believe Sizzix has told me that stores will have the dies in May. It's been a long year for me working on this line, but I'm so excited to finally be associated with a company that supports my creativity...baking is my other love:-D

I thought that about the "year" I worked on these before I saw them and I will tell you, "Time Flies!" It's almost February and when I was at the mall yesterday, they already have Easter candy out:-D It's really just 3 more months and February is short, XOXO
Your right Susan,and now I feel bad for being so self centered.I forgot how much goes into bringing a labor of love into fruition. How absolutely excited you must be. You are so right,time does fly! I will pull up my big girl panties now and sit more quietly waiting for your web page. In the meantime, I made popovers and I am going to attempt brioche. Then maybe I will just go down the list hahahahahaha. Everybody, have a marvelous day. I wish you all paper flowers and warm smells from your kitchen. Muriel

OH!! I just posted a picture of this frame on my blog. I took a picture of it at CHA in Anaheim in January. Gonna run back to my blog and post this link, too.
I do not know if it's just me or if everyone else experiencing issues with your website. It appears as if some of the written text in your posts are running off the screen. Can somebody else please comment and let me know if this is happening to them as well? This could be a issue with my browser because I've had this happen before. Thanks
