Glimps of CHA

I chose a wedding theme to show off my flowers...something old and something new...at CHA (Craft & Hobby Association) convention this year.  The response was wonderful and I so enjoyed meeting all the paper gardeners and hearing their stories.

Both my grandmother and mother were amazing gardeners and I'm thankful every day for them sharing their experiences with me.  Kelly, who also had a love for gardening,  gave me a plaque with a very memorable line from Ralph Waldo Emerson's poem, "Hamatreya" that hangs in my studio:
Now, it's off to the post office to mail Angie her apron and then, to the quilt shop to buy new fabric for January's Give-Away, which I will post later.  Have a wonderful day and know that flowers will be blooming soon, XOXO

  1. Morning Susan, tell us more about your time at CHA. I'm not a gardner (that's my husband, he has green thumb) but I do enjoy picking all the flowers he plants.

  10. Your display is so sweet. I'm sure there is not one Canadian that wouldn't love to have flowers again. Won't be too long now. Hugs
