Feeling a Little Wicked & A Special Give-Away

Last September, I used this same fabric, but in a different colorway, for an apron give-away and told you the story of the Kitchen Witch.  It was such a fun fabric, that when I came across it at the Sewing Expo in Pullalup, Washington, I picked up some yardage with the intention of doing another apron.  However, for this month, I've done instead a tote bag, as Kelly told me, "is the favorite thing I ever made her."  She was using hers for keeping her quilting projects together, but it's great for any needlework, crossword/soduko puzzles, etc.  Coincidentally, it happens to be the 8th time I've made this bag and so with Kelly's birthday on the 8th, it seems only appropriate that this bag be October's Give-Away.  I hope the lucky recipient will love it as much as she did and put it to good use: )

I'd also like to share with you fun fact #11 about me--I love the Charm series and not only have I watched each episode about a dozen times, but own the DVDs of all 8 seasons.  Kelly would laugh at this obsession, but then admit, "don't we all have a little witch inside of us."  And, wouldn't you, even if it's just for a day, want to freeze someone, blow up a demon or two, or even orb.  Orbing would be great, especially when I want to see the grands at a moments notice. LOL!  So, to show off my Wicked side, I created a haunted house using a die cut designed by my friend, Eileen Hull for Ellison.  (If you remember, I did this same house last year in a cottage in memory of Kelly's Garden.)  With Halloween this month, this haunted house is the centerpiece of my table.
The rules are the same as last month--each time you post, your name will go into my flower pot.  That means odds are better for winning the Wicked Tote.  Also, I'm not like a radio station who says, "if you've won in the last 30 days you're not eligible--everyone is eligible each month on my blog and that means not only in the United States, but international as well.  I ship everywhere :) Good Luck!
